Trouble Locating a Specific Audience in Google

Solution: Step 1: Verify Audience Name The first step is to determine if the audience name has potentially been changed. Here’s how to verify this:
Go to your Google Ads account.
Navigate to Tools > Shared Library > Audience Manager.
Go to Data Segments.
Filter for your audience by the segment ID.
You can find the segment ID within your Primer audience by:
Clicking into your audience.
Selecting View Run Details.
The segment ID will be listed within the Google section.
Step 2: Check Ad Account Connection If the audience name is correct, the next step is to determine if your agency partner has made the ad account connection, or if you have connected it directly.
Many agencies operate with an MCC (My Client Center) account in Google.
If your agency has access to your ad account and made the authorization on the Primer page with their MCC account, all Primer audiences will sync into their master MCC account’s audience manager, not your company’s specific audience manager and ad account.
To verify this:
Go to the Integrations page in Primer.
Look at the account ID of your Google integration.
Verify if it is your account ID or your agency’s account ID.
Resolving the Issue: If it turns out to be your agency’s account ID, you have two options to resolve this:
Option 1: Disconnect the Agency Account
Have someone from your team disconnect the agency account.
Ensure only someone from your company makes the Google Ads connection.
This way, your ad account will be directly connected, not the agency’s MCC account.
Option 2: Share Audiences
Have your agency share audiences from their MCC account to your sub-account. For more details, refer to this help article.
