If you're encountering an error indicating that your Facebook ad account is not associated with a business, follow this step-by-step troubleshooting guide to resolve the issue:

Step 1: Log into Your Facebook Business Manager

  • Go to and log in with your credentials.

Step 2: Navigate to Business Settings

  • Once logged in, click on the Business Settings option in the left-hand menu.

Step 3: Check Your Ad Accounts

  • In the Business Settings, navigate to the Ad Accounts section.

  • Look for your ad account in the list.

Step 4: Ad Account Not Listed?

  • If your ad account is not listed, you need to add it manually:

    1. Click on Add and select Add an Ad Account.

    2. Paste your Ad Account ID into the field and follow the prompts to complete the addition.

Step 5: Reconnect Your Ad Account to Primer

  • After adding your ad account to the Business Manager, return to Primer and reconnect your ad account. You should now see it listed correctly.

Step 6: First Time Running Facebook Ads?

  • If this is your first time running Facebook ads, you might need to create a new ad account in the Ad Accounts section of your Business Settings.

By following these steps, you should be able to resolve the error and connect your Facebook ad account successfully.
