Google Ads MCC Account
🔗 What Is a Google Ads MCC Account?
A Manager (MCC) account is a Google Ads account built for managing multiple clients or sub-accounts from one place. It acts as a “master” account that gives access and control over linked (child) accounts.
⚙️ How to Connect Your MCC Account in Primer
Go to Primer → Connections → Google Ads.
Click Connect Google Ads Account.
Sign in with your Google Ads Manager (MCC) account.
You’ll see a list of child accounts under your MCC.
Select one child account to sync audiences to and save.
✅ Important: Primer supports only one connected Google ad child account per organization at a time. If you want to sync audiences to a different child account, remove the existing connection, and choose the new account during the OAuth flow.
If you need run ads from multiple Google Ads accounts at the same time, shoot us a message via our in app chat or reach out to [email protected] and we can set you up with a new Primer organization (aka instance).
🪄 How to Link a Client Account to Your MCC
If your client’s Google Ads account isn’t yet linked to your MCC, you can add it easily:
Sign in to your Google Ads MCC account.
In the top navigation, click Accounts → Performance → + (plus icon).

Select “Link existing account.”

Enter the client’s Customer ID (CID) — you can find it in their Google Ads dashboard.

Click Send Request.
The client will receive an invitation to approve. Once accepted, their account will appear in your MCC hierarchy.
