# Exclusion audiences

Use an exclusion (anti-ICP) audience to remove people from targeting, with a 50M cap.

An exclusion audience — also called an **anti-ICP** audience — is a list of people or companies you want to *keep out* of your targeting rather than reach. You apply it to suppress bad-fit accounts, existing customers, or anyone you don't want to spend ad budget on.

## Size cap

Because exclusion audiences remove people rather than target them, they have a much higher cap than regular audiences: **50,000,000 records**, versus the 3,000,000 cap on a [regular audience](/primer/primer-support-review/audiences/audience-size-limits.md).

> Older guidance that said audiences are capped at 3M applies only to regular audiences. Exclusion audiences cap at 50M.
